St Albans Plant Hire - Diggers, Dumpers & Telehandlers

From period homes near the cathedral to new builds out towards London Colney, Bucks Site Services supplies plant hire across St Albans for domestic and trade projects. Our 1 tonne mini diggers are narrow enough for terraced streets and back gardens, mid range diggers handle service trenches and soakaways, and the 5 tonne machine deals with footings and larger groundworks. We match the bucket to the job and can send a hydraulic breaker when there is old concrete or flint to break out. To keep spoil moving, dumpers run from 1 to 9 tonnes, including tracked models that protect lawns and cope with soft ground. Telehandlers from 4 to 9 metres lift materials onto scaffolds and over extensions, saving time on loft conversions and roofing work. Call 01296 799999 or use the buttons below and we will recommend the right machine for your site.

St Albans Grab Hire & Machinery

Grab hire is one of the simplest ways to deal with excavated material in St Albans, where many streets leave little room for a skip. The grab lorry works from the road and its arm reaches up to six metres over walls, hedges and front gardens, loading around 16 tonnes of muck away or hardcore away in one visit. No skip permit is needed, and you receive a waste transfer note for every load so your duty of care is covered. Soil, clay, brick, concrete and rubble are all accepted. Combine it with machinery hire from our range, whether that is a digger and dumper for a garden project or a telehandler for a self build in Park Street or Wheathampstead, and we will plan deliveries, collections and grab visits around your schedule.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve been hiring diggers and dumpers plus other items from Billy at Bucks Site Services for a while now, and the service has been spot on every time. The machines are always well-maintained, reliable, and ready to go straight to work, which makes a huge difference on site. Billy himself is easy to deal with—friendly, professional, and always does his best to sort things quickly, even at short notice. Delivery and collection are prompt, and you can tell he genuinely cares about keeping his customers moving without delays. It’s hard to find plant hire this dependable these days. Would highly recommend Bucks Site Services to anyone needing quality equipment and a service you can rely on.
